When someone you love is struggling with addiction, it affects every part of your life. The
walking on eggshells. The sleepless nights. The constant wondering if you're doing too much—
or not enough.
Your nervous system stays on high alert,
leaving your body and mind depleted.
You pull away from others because the pain feels invisible and too heavy to share.

Pam Rader is a bestselling author, speaker, leadership coach, and the founder of Shift Labs and Shift Power Yoga. But beyond the titles, Pam is a woman who has walked through fire—and come out the other side with open arms and a deep commitment to helping others heal.
Pam’s journey is rooted in lived experience. She survived an addiction-riddled and abusive marriage that nearly cost her everything—including her life. In the years that followed, she faced the unthinkable again: her son’s devastating struggle with fentanyl addiction. Watching him disappear into the grips of substance use disorder, unsure if he would make it out alive, became one of the most painful and transformative chapters of her life.
But healing is possible.
Pam chose to do the hard work of repairing her nervous system, reclaiming her voice, and ultimately turning her pain into purpose. She created spaces for others to do the same—founding programs, writing books, and facilitating retreats that meet people in the raw truth of their suffering, then guide them back to hope.
Her bestselling book, Through the Cracks, chronicles her family's journey through trauma, addiction, and redemption—and has become a beacon of light for countless readers walking similar paths.
Today, her son is healthy and thriving in recovery—and their relationship is the greatest joy of her life.
Pam brings a rare combination of lived wisdom, professional mastery, and grounded compassion to everything she does. Whether she’s speaking on stage, leading a retreat, or sitting in quiet conversation, Pam helps people feel seen, heard, and capable of profound transformation.
